Problem in Jakarta

Jakarta is the capital city of Indonesia. As a capital of state jakarta would be a major point of doing any activities. Located on the northwest coast of the world's most populous island of Java, Jakarta is the country's economic, cultural and political center, with a population of 10,075,310 as of 2014.

As many other cities do, Jakarta has many urban problems. One problem that has caused the loss of life in Jakarta is floods. Jakarta is very prone to floods and they can prove to be very dangerous in the city. Jakarta usually gets flooded every year, but the magnitude is not always that big. In 2007 though, flooding affected 70% of Jakarta, killed 57 people and made at least 450,000 people homeless.
Flooding after heavy rainfall is also affected by certain factors, including steep and shallow river channels, lack of vegetation and concrete drainage basins that prevent the water from percolating back to the ground and causing water to run faster on the floodplain. Insufficient drainage systems, poor maintenance of waterways and faulty sewers also contribute to flooding.
The cause of flooding also varies by geographical location. High tide combined with a stormy weather and low atmospheric pressure is one of the main causes of flooding in coastal regions. Hurricanes bring destructive storm surges, which can quickly uplift shore water by up to several meters. A storm surge can penetrate the beach and low-lying areas farther inland.

The solution for this problem are, Install litter traps to manage chocking of drains along with constant maintenance, Increase and strategic placement of drain holes on roads, Build pond(s) near flood prone areas, Concrete reinforcement of river bank at crucial areas instead of stone and cement, build additional or expand current reservoir to control water flow to Jakarta, and make trash bank. The residents should collect anorganic waste and handed it to the trash bank. So they will not throw the waste carelessly. The government and the residents must work together to make jakarta or Indonesia save from flood.

The cloncusion is, just like i said before the government and the residents must work together. We have to throw away our ego and take care of the environment.

  2. Hello Chrisna.
Your article is amazing. I like it. I suggest you to change "The conclusion is" into "In conclusion". But if you want to use "The conclusion is", the comma must be deleted.
That's all and good luck :)

you are so cool in writing ;)
    But according to me
it will be greater if you change "The solution for this problem are, Install litter traps to manage chocking of drains along with constant maintenance " become
"There are some solutions for this problem, such as Install litter traps to manage chocking of drains along with constant maintenance"

    Good job dear ;)
